FINALLY! Phase 1 of my kitchen reveal is finally complete. I'm not going to lie there were multiple times throughout this journey that I thought I might never see this day come to fruition. Though some of my initial design concepts changed mostly due to budget (real reality), the main idea behind the design has remained consistent. I've included the original floor plan and elevations as well as some before photos below to refresh your memory if you have been following along and catch you up if you are just tuning in. I was fortunate enough to work with some incredible sponsors that helped to make Ida's kitchen the kitchen of my dreams. Caesarstone provided the amazing Rugged Concrete counters (they look like soapstone!), I was terrified of choosing dark counters since I'm typically a light and bright gal but they are perfect. If you remember I've worked with Caesarstone in the past on my Austin bungalow. I selected the Tollis pendants everyone asks about from Kichler lighting. My beautiful kitchen faucet is the Kohler Artifacts Bridge Faucet. Cabinet paint is the exact greige putty I was envisioning all thanks to Portola Paint's Kinfolk. I'll write another post detailing more about the process, etc., but for now I'll stick to the reveal and the sources!
